Designation: Automation Test Engineer

Primary Skills (Must have)

• Tools & tech – Appium, Junit, TestNG, Maven, extent reports, Git, Jenkins, and Jira
• Programming skills in Java/Core Java

Area of Expertise

• Strong, object-oriented design and coding skills
• Strong experience with Selenium and Appium framework development and understanding
• Experience with distributed (multi-tiered) systems, algorithms, and relational databases.
• Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions
• Deal well with ambiguous/undefined problems; ability to think abstractly.
• Coding experience with automation framework, tools, and services for mobile.
• Understanding of QA methodologies, life cycle, and processes.
• Shows creativity and initiative to improve product coverage and effectiveness.
• Expertise in database testing including designing and manipulating test data, validating stored procs, jobs, triggers, and replication.
• Understanding of APIs and web services, experience in multi-device testing

Roles / Responsibilities

• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of UI tests.
• Work closely with developers to improve the testability of our mobile applications.
• Build scripts and tools to integrate into our continuous integration pipeline.
• Work with QA and development teams to understand what slows them down Design and implement tools to assist QA in bug discovery.

Qualification

BE/ BS/ MS in Computer Science or equivalent.
