Manual Test Engineer – OTT Domain

Experience: 4-6 Years

Location: Hyderabad, Work from office

Primary Skills 

• Experience in Agile project methodology, test and release management 
• Experience in managing UAT and beta test phase and releases 
• Excellent understanding of SDLC, STLC, and experience in setting up end-to-end QA for any products or apps. 
• Ability to provide solution consultancy to the client products for mobile (Android, iOS, Mweb), web app, TV apps testing. 
• Experience in deriving test strategy, test plan, traceability matrix 
• Experience in defining and designing the test cases for manual and automation testing 
• Well versed with Usability, Functional, System, Regression, Localization, and Smoke/Sanity testing 
• Exposure to functional automation and non-functional testing and solutions 
• Experience in tools like – Jira, firebase crashlytics, android studio, postman. 
• Understanding debugging and API components. Good knowledge of Web and Mobile Applications and their basic architecture. 
• Technical and leadership skills in terms of QA domain and technologies

Roles / Responsibilities 

• Managing app releases and leading UAT testing phase 
• Defining test solution and approach for mobile, web, and TV app testing 
• Defining test scope and coverage to have maximum quality assurance 
• Identifying and implementing the best approach and solution across the test life cycle of the products. 
• Responsible for taking QA-related technical decisions required on a project. 
• Working for continuous improvement to achieve high customer satisfaction and to coordinate directly with a customer or product team. 
• Ability to mentor and support other team members 
• Proactive reporting and escalation of issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering from premier institute preferred
