Job Summary:

As a FinTech QA Lead/QA Manager, you will be responsible for leading the quality assurance efforts in testing complex financial applications and ensuring that all products meet the highest standards of quality, performance, and regulatory compliance. You will manage QA processes, teams, and tools to deliver secure, efficient, and compliant fintech products. The role requires knowledge of capital markets, payment systems, lending, Digital Banking, wealth mngt and cutting-edge testing methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

01. QA Leadership & Strategy

  • Lead and manage the QA team in creating, maintaining, and executing test strategies, plans, and cases to validate fintech applications.
  • Ensure high-quality standards across all deliverables, promoting best practices, testing methodologies, and automation.
  • Must be capable of managing multiple projects and clients, conducting regular client meetings, and ensuring stable and consistent delivery.
  • Should possess the ability to set up projects from inception to completion, including planning, resource allocation, execution, and monitoring. This includes defining project goals, timelines, and deliverables while ensuring seamless coordination among stakeholders.

02. Test Planning & Execution

  • Collaborate closely with client stakeholders to ensure a deep understanding of business and technical requirements.
  • Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases covering both functional and non-functional aspects of fintech applications.
  • Oversee the execution of manual and automated tests for various platforms, including web, mobile, APIs, and back-end systems.

03. Team Management

  • Lead, mentor, and grow the QA team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, set clear objectives, and provide feedback to team members.

04. Stakeholder Communication

  • Serve as the primary QA subject matter expert during client engagements, providing in-depth knowledge of quality assurance processes, best practices, and compliance requirements in fintech.
  • Develop tailored proposals and presentations that showcase the company’s QA capabilities and solutions relevant to fintech products, such as banking applications, payment systems, trading platforms, etc.

05. Pre-Sales Engagement

  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the QA team and other business units with internal as well as client team..
  • Communicate QA risks, timelines, and progress to stakeholders, making recommendations to mitigate risks and ensure timely delivery.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 10 years of experience into Testing, Immediate joiners.
  • Prior experience in Finance/Fintech Domain – Mandatory
  • Key Skills: Lending/Banking/Capital Market/ Payments
  • Capable of managing and executing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Hands on experience in Web, mobile , API and Database testing
  • Hands on experience in Advance manual testing like logs collection, High level issue debugging and backend services testing
  • Experience in Service based Industry
