Role Overview:
We are hiring an SDET 2 with strong hands-on experience in Java, Selenium, and API testing. This is an individual contributor role focused on developing and maintaining test automation frameworks for UI and APIs in a CI/CD environment.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain UI and API automation frameworks
- Write test scripts using Java, Rest-Assured, and Selenium
- Perform functional, regression, and integration testing
- Understand test lifecycle, test processes, and SDLC
- Work independently on developing solutions to testing challenges
- Collaborate with developers, testers, and DevOps teams
- Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins
- Perform basic DB testing as needed
Qualifications:
- Strong programming in Java, with object-oriented design understanding
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and problem solving
- Hands-on experience with Selenium and Rest-Assured
- Familiar with test framework design for both UI and API layers
- Exposure to CI/CD tools like Jenkins
- Basic knowledge of database testing
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
